Com-Guard Software Only Upgrade 


The following upgrade can only be installed on a machine which has a purchased version of the Com-Guard application.

Important Note: This upgrade installation may replace your file protection databases.  After upgrading, please check your file configuration list and if necessary re-enter the files you wish to protect.

This upgrade improves the following:

  • Enhanced  Video Operations.

    • Compatibility with more Cameras.
    • Improved Video Compression Ratios utilizing MPEG4 V2.
    • Motion Detection now supported.
    • Scalable Motion Frame Size.
    • Motion Detection Time Delays
    • Adjustable Motion Sensitivity.
    • Smaller Video Mail Sizes.

  • Additional Encryption Features.

    • File Encryption now supports a user selectable key instead of an internal program key.

  • New Auto-Arm On Start Feature.

    • When this option is selected, Com-Guard will automatically arm when it's started.
